When you need to replace the original equipment gasket when installing a new backlite or slider, the CRL Backglass Replacement Gasket is made specific for helping to complete this installation. Gaskets are available for most popular domestic and import pickups. Search the listings for the one you need for the year, make and model truck you are working on. Truck Slider Gasket Information Before ordering a gasket set for a rear slider, make sure to check the information below. Even though the existing slider may have a gasket, all gaskets are not alike, and the new slider may require a new gasket. CRL Truck Sliders fit into standard OEM factory back glass gaskets. Some pickups are equipped with a wide channel gasket (Fig. 1), on original equipment sliders. These are not acceptable for installation of CRL Truck Sliders, and must be replaced with a narrow channel gasket, such as those shown in Fig. 2. see details
